I would like to start by saying thank you to all of those who have answered the survey already.

I work for an insurance company in Sydney and have tried to get my reptiles insured for theft. All of the brokers that I tried stated that you can get it if you want to insure over seas but it is not available in Australia, so I decided to see if I could get something started in Australia through work.

We have close to 200 surveys completed. We still need to reach 500 before we can get any insurer interested in looking at the figures, so get your mates and other herpers to complete the survey........

If you are concerned about giving out details due to theft of reptiles, there is no need to worry as I am not asking for personal details. DO NOT leave your surname, but please do leave you suburb as the insurance company requires this type of information.
